About the Role: Customer Support Representative (Student Happiness Rep!)
We’re looking for a Customer Support Representative—someone who can handle inquiries with ease, resolve challenges swiftly, and connect students with the right tutors and coaches. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our students receive the best possible support, contributing to their success and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for student inquiries through various channels, including chat, email, phone, and Zoom.
- Connect with members of our community, whether they are customers or not, and answer any questions they have about their MCAT prep situation, our services, and/or our resources in a detailed, well-thought-out manner.
- Quickly and accurately match students with the appropriate tutor or coach based on their needs. When students sign up for MCAT tutoring or med-school application coaching, you will help us match each student to their ideal mentor who will be best suited to help them increase their scores quickly, and get into medical school!
- Create student-friendly documents and internal guides.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams on initiatives to enhance the student experience.
- Assist customers with any challenges they have (technical, special requests, etc.)
- Apply your problem-solving skills to assist students and contribute to team projects.
- Identify and act on opportunities to increase student engagement.
- Never try to sell. This isn't a sales role (we don't have those!). We just want to make sure every student is better off for having met us.
Qualifications
- Well-versed knowledge of the MCAT exam, the premedical student journey, and medical school admissions process
- At least one year of experience in customer support or sales
- Having already taken the MCAT is a huge bonus
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply, especially if you're eager to grow within a company with abundant opportunities.
